November 17, 2008- 11 weeks
Here is the picture from our first ultrasound! We were so anxious and excited to see how much our little one had grown and hear a heartbeat. When Dr. Holladay first listened for the heartbeat in the room he couldn't find one....only could hear mine! I have always disliked doctor appointments so my heart probably was beating hard and fast! Boy was I nervous then though. Both he and JP were very calm and said this was a perfect excuse for us to get to have an early ultrasound! (Normally my doc doesn't do until 20 weeks)Come to find out the placenta was just sitting right over her and so that's why you couldn't hear hers over mine! Her (eventhough we didn't know at the time!) heartbeat was around 153.
