This past weekend we planned a last minute visit back to Miami. We had a great time filled with visiting all of our favorite spots from when we lived there. JP coordinated for us to stay in 2 great hotels in the heart of Coral Gables- the Westin the first 2 nights and then the Hyatt the last night. They were amazing! The McDonalds All American Basketball Tournament participants were staying at the Westin so that was some excitement there! Then the move across the street to the Hyatt created a day and a half of total relaxation by and in the pool (baby and mom loved the pool!) and JP in the steam room. :) We went to eat all of our favorite spots- Chicken Kitchen, Sushi on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, Le Bouchon du Grove in Coconut Grove, Big Fish along the Miami River, two visits to eat cuban at Sergio's, and daily trips in the AM to Jamma Juice! We went back to the church we attended while down there and loved seeing familiar faces and also walked down to Mathasen Hammock Park to see beautiful views of downtown Miami, South Beach, and Key Biscayne. I bought some great maternity clothes on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables and we even got a few things for baby at a store down from our old apartment in South Miami. That about wraps up our trip!
mom you had another kid, and its a boy! My name is Patrick! I turned 13 on Tuesday and love life. I got a MacBook Air (you don't know what that is yet, you'll see ;)) and am using it a lot so far. Katherine is 15 now and about to drive. Your youngest son, Thomas, is doing good too. He is 10 and in 5th grade. You are a teacher at Heathwood Hall and teach 4th grade. Dad is still a lawyer. So many things have happened since 2009. I hope you see them soon!
