Well I have been neglectful to post anything in months! Life in the Lee household has been eventful and busy, busy! Since I last posted we have celebrated Katherine's first birthday with friends and family, had a rich and full summer, started "school" one day a week, visited Great-Grands and friends in Atlanta, and much more.
Her favorite things to do right now are play in her kitchen, putting things in and out of anything that will pass as a bucket (mostly the little bathroom trashcan...yes I cleaned it...), trying to get away with standing in her rocking chair, and swinging in yard and at the park. Today we had a fun day on the horseshoe with our friends. The other pic is in our yard. She gets down on the ground like that when she hears something loud (she will have the "stop, drop and roll" down one day!)...this case it was the garbage truck in front of the house. :)
We now have 7 teeth and counting, enough hair to where we need to hold it back but refuse the bow, very independent, saying "mom", "daddy", "Pollo", doggie, lion, bee (bird), Mimi, PopPop, Boo, (we're working on Cha but the "c" is hard!), assie (passie), berry, nana (banana), chez (cheese), uh oh, yes, no, out, wing (swing), Ga-cocks (gamecocks), and that is all I can think of right now! She is walking/running like the toddler she is becoming and quite the little monkey/climber with no fear unfortunately. We love Mikey Mouse Clubhouse in the mornings, too (especially when they sing). At her 15 month appt about 2 weeks ago she was weighing in at a whopping 16.9 lbs (that 0.9 counts!) and 28 in. Still a petite little girl. Be jealous...we're still in the infant carrier and plan to be until Christmas! Best friends are passies and monkey.
Katherine is going to Kilbourne Park Baptist on Wednesdays and loves it. She has made lots of friends, loves her teacher, and is happy and worn out when I pick her up. We are also doing a Wed night mom and tot program and dinner at church so our Wed's are really busy! Here are just a few recent pics.
