One year ago!

Hard to believe this was one year ago today!

Each day brings new things around here! She will be 21 months next week. I can't believe it! A few recaps of recent soon to be two's moments: Today we had a battle with the paci's. Boy will it be an unhappy day in the Lee household when the paci fairy comes to visit! We (I have to blame this one on her eventhough I was the one who caved and let her have it after a total meltdown rolling in the yard for her 2 paci's, monkey, and lovie that were left inside) I told her she would loose it...and she did. We have lost now 5 paci's in the past week (one we know is in Greenville) and I am sure they will appear in someones shoe, in the play kitchen, or somewhere fun. Well when paci #2 (keep in mind we always have to have 2) was nowhere to be found we had to make a trip to Walgreens and buy another pack. They were on sale so mom bought 2 packs! When will this all end? :) I hear at 2 we need to be strict about only in the bed. Already tried that one..."No mommy!" She also has become very familiar with using "Stop it" and answering "What" when you call her. Boy do we have some work to do! She does say please and thank you without prompting most of the time now though.

On the other hand she also continues to amaze us with what she can say, do, and comprehend. She can now count to 10...skipping 7 and 8...and does it all the time! She is so proud too when she does! She is starting to associate people with other people and places. Like when we go to park she says..."park Me Mac" (park with Mary Mac) or said "Mommy Me Mac" when she saw Kenzie across the grocery! We're going to church. "Church...Hanie, Jack, MeMac!"Can you tell who we are around a lot!? She even went into my closet and got out my Rainbow flip flips and came up to me saying "Mommy, like Cha" (JP's dad wears those kind of shoes!) "School...Chap Chap (her teacher). She and Hane (our soon to be neighbor across the street) are an item for sure. They play very well together so that is a blessing for us parents while we catch up! :) Just no romancing in the tree house!

That is about it. Katherine is getting her picture taken Friday with Stella Hart (the classic b/w portrait). Mommy is so excited! :) Thanks to Mimi for sending down a beautiful dress from The Grey Goose! :) Now lets just not fall between now and then and get another bruise on our head! We're headed to Greenville Sat for my 31st bday and plan an afternoon downtown!
